Delectable Italian Beef Cubes - An Instant Pot Recipe

I have made this several times and after the first time, my husband has begun to ask for this meal.  I highly recommend you make it.

As you can see, I made this very low carb tonight. Cauliflower mash with asparagus and carrots.

This meal makes wonderful jus and is excellent with a pepper and beef sandwich.


2 cups beef broth
3-4 pounds cubed beef 1-2 inch cubes
2 whole thinly slices white onions
2-4 cloves finely chopped garlic
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon onion and garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
2-3 tablespoons olive oil

Once the beef is cubed, add the spice mix and let marinade. Put the Instant Pot on saute and brown the onions, then add the garlic. Once incorporated add the beef and brown. Add the 2 cups of broth.

Set the pressure to full manual for 35 minutes. Then natural release which is usually 25-35 minutes.

I strain the broth by separating the meat and the juice, then reintroduce it. There are likely impurities in the broth. To improve the experience of the jus, straining is preferable.
